Abstract

A simple transformation is used to show that every electrified Weyl spacetime defines a corresponding stationary and axially symmetric spacetime, and vice-versa. Also, if the stationary solution is to be asymptotically flat, then the the generating Weyl spacetime cannot be asymptotically flat, but must behave asymptotically as a cylindrical spacetime.
