Consequences of excess losses in distribution networks are given. The features of the power supply system of industrial enterprises are revealed. The characteristics and basic data of the power supply system of the Kairakkum carpet plant are given. A simplified power supply scheme is considered, considering the losses of active and reactive power in individual nodes of the enterprise's power supply system. The main technical and organizational measures to reduce losses of active and reactive power in distribution networks are stated.
