Abstract

A theory of nonlinear electric conductivity in a semiconductor film is offered. This nonlinearity is caused by heating of charge carriers in an external dc electric field. For the first time nonequilibrium charge carriers appearing due to the presence of the same heating electric field are taken into account. (© 2004 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
