Abstract
The experimental results on aluminum alloy D16 kinetics interaction with the aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide under the action of an alternating electric current. It was found that the reaction rate under an alternating electric current is significantly greater than the reaction rate without an electric current application. The use of electrical current allows to obtain Al(OH) 3 particles with a smaller size and a narrower range of particle distribution by sizes.
