Abstract

Measurement of electric field distribution and charge density in dielectrics gives complete information about the properties of dielectrics under radiation electrification. Methods similar to acoustic probing are most effective for this purpose. It allows the experimental determination of the functions E(x, t) and p(x, t) during the whole process of charge accumulation and relaxation. It is sufficient for the determination of the main electrical characteristics of materials.
