Abstract

It is possible to fit the elastic electron scattering data with a single oscillator parameter as in other 1p shell nuclei even for large momentum transfer if the residual two-body interaction in the single-particle shell model is taken into account. The residual interaction causes configuration mixing from the states higher than the lowest one including the core excitation.
