Abstract
Throughout history nations grow and decay, but over long periods in the middle of which may regain its hegemony and leadership. At present there are many elements that are at stake in the discussion table a Hegemon internationally, however, we believe it is too early to foresee the actual loss of US hegemony. USA, EEC, Japan and China, four key players who are strong in at least some of the economic, military, political and ideological planes are rescued. In this scenario, with new events such as the formation of trading blocs, the Trilateral FTA becomes a point, among other things, allowing the US to maintain its place of primacy internationally, when viewed this area, including the world's largest market.
