Abstract

The objetive of this chapter is to analyze the behavoir of some concepts related to the labor market and the incluson of groups at risk of social exclusión: guaranteed work and its relation to full employment, universal basic income and minimun vital income. Likewise, some theories are analyzed to explain the segmentation and duality of the Spanish labor market, witch help to understand the processes of social exclusion of certain groups. The conclusions indicate that work is a fundamental right that contributes to social good, but that, in our country, it is far from being guaranteed. Without being able to speak of Universal Basic Income, the different minimum income of insertion of the Comunidades Autónomas and the recent approval of the minimum vital income by the State, are configured as alternatives for the improvement of the social welfare of people, before a job market incapable of creating jobs for all those who request it.
