Abstract

This paper will focus on the ethical controversy suggested by the desire to see places or tourist landscapes that are highly fragile due to climate change, called tourism's last chance, from the perspective of the philosophical principle of responsibility put forward by Hans Jonas (1984) and Karl-Otto Apel (1985). The aim is to contribute to the debate and construction of the principle of responsibility applied to the tourism practice of these destinations, as a conceptual contribution from Geography to an ethical discussion of tourism
