Abstract

The boundaries between prose and verse, the presence of different voices´s characters, wich act as semi-heteronyms and gravitate the texts giving distance to the poetic self; the journey to the past as a revealing experience and the insuffiency of word as the mean of expression are the principal subjects of the Álvaro Mutis´s poetry. In this essay, the concept of epiphany, understood as a representation of the perfect order or as an indecipherable formula of a mystery against the agonistic circumstances of disaster, unifies the colombian’s poetic work.
