Abstract
El propósito del artículo es examinar cómo el Inca Garcilaso de la Vega construye su ethos discursivo en Los comentarios reales de los incas y cuáles eran las intenciones implícitas de su proyecto. Siguiendo la metodología del Análisis Crítico del Discurso, este trabajo lleva a cabo un estudio de los elementos deícticos ‘otro’, ‘yo’, ‘tú’, ‘nosotros’ inclusivo. Los resultados explican que esta obra historiográfica puede entenderse, gracias a la retórica del autor, más bien como una sutil invitación a la búsqueda colectiva de justicia y armonía entre las culturas andina y occidental.
