Abstract

It is stated that behaviorism is an analysis of the traditional philosophy of psychology, that tries to overcome its spiritualistic assumptions. The status of behaviorism is examined according to three dimensions: the epistemological, the methodological and the logic—ontological. Through a historical analysis beginning in Watson and from the viewpoint of interbehavioral psychology it is concluded that there are no unnatural events to be studied in psychology.
