Abstract
Este trabajo presenta una investigación sobre el papel que desempeña la radio comunitaria en el proceso de cambio social en la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense. La realidad social, territorial y política de esta zona justifica el análisis del papel de la radio como herramienta de comunicación para las comunidades indígenas y afrodescendientes del Caribe. El objetivo es demostrar cómo el medio radiofónico puede ser un buen instrumento para fortalecer y mejorar los procesos de transformación y desarrollo de estas comunidades.
