Abstract

The development of the traditional communities in Canary Island have passed by an intense process of exploitation of territorial resources which are part of its cultural identity. In this context stand the ravines out like dynamic spaces that offer a wide variety of resources to the development of socio-economic activities. Actually, these are displayed as important cultural landscapes which have been undervalued and forgotten but they continue to be part of the Canary Cultural Heritage, both tangible and intangible.
