Abstract

Irruption of the intercultural approach, in the field of foreign language teaching, has brought about changes and conceptual adjustments that renew the vision of the trinomial language, culture and literature. The objective of this article is to propose a methodology for the treatment of sociocultural content following the theoretical principles of the intercultural approach. For this, an article by Juan Jose Millas has been selected, from which the integrated development of the components of intercultural communicative competence: knowledge, skills and attitudes is proposed. It constitutes a renewed vision in the use of the literary text, which in addition to the cultural input provides a way for the intercultural training of the SFL learner.
