Abstract
The author outlines the development of the moderation method as an effort to enable creativity and innovation in organizations. By creating open spaces free of hierarchal structure in which those concerned can become actively involved in development projects, the development of better quality solutions that enjoy broad support is to become feasible. The author explains the basic principles of moderating and points to interfaces with TCI. She assumes that future decision-making within our economy and society will be increasingly based on moderated communication, due to the growth of networking and expansion of agile working methods. In her view, a combination of TCI and the moderation method offers a good foundation for shaping processes characterized by participation.
