Abstract
AbstractThe engineers of the Centre for Scientific Instrument Manufacture of the Academy of Science of the GDR have engineered a bench incubator for the requirements of tissue culture and other biological research. The chamber made of corrosion resistant metal has a volume of about 100 litres. The cultures standing at three shelves are areated horizontal by two radial ventilators. The incubator equipped with automatic CO2‐, temperature‐ and humidity measuring‐ and regulation systems is distinguished by a new method of sterilization.
