Abstract

The issue of implementing nutritional alternatives in banana plantations is a significant case which arises as productive, social, and economic priority to implement an organic agriculture, limiting the use of chemicals that pollute the crops and the environment in general. The traditional cultivation of banana used high doses of chemical fertilizers, especially nitrogen and potassium, which encourages nutritional alternatives and managing plantations in a more sustainable way. The production of organic bananas in traditional production areas entails changes in the production technology, which is done to maintain the nutritional requirements of the crop and ensure an efficient production, in which the costs soar necessary implementing new alternatives to achieve a product of quality and high sales value, which would guarantee the success of organic productions, which have led to complete the following objectives: linking different sources organic waste used as supplies of alternative nutrients for plantations of organic bananas and describe alternative Organic fertilization to maintain nutritional requirements on organic banana plantations.
