Abstract
This paper outlines a novel and efficient hybrid simulation technique for solving open boundary problems. The technique combines a finite element solution for volumetric electric fields and a method of moments or boundary integral solutions to a truncation boundary. The technique is built on a domain decomposition infrastructure which highly parallelized. The underlying theory will be presented along with some examples highlighting the efficiency and accuracy when combined with adaptive meshing in finite.
