The image shows two one‐pot processes for the bienzymatic synthesis of ethyl (R)‐3‐hydroxyglutarate (EHG), a key intermediate for the synthesis of rosuvastatin, from ethyl (S)‐4‐chloro‐3‐hydroxybutyrate (ECHB).
