Abstract
The present research aims to improve the morphological indices by practicing the means of aerobic gymnastics in the framework of leisure activities. The objectives of the research were aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle by practicing the means of aerobic gymnastics and highlighting the positive effects that these means can produce on the body if they are constantly practiced. As research methods I used; study of bibliographies, test method, experiment, statistical-mathematical and graphic. The research included a number of 60 subjects, aged between 20-25 years and was carried out at the City Gym fitness room in Bacau. The subjects of the research participated in aerobic gymnastics programs, three times a week for 8 months. The performed programs included exercises of harmonious physical development, stretching, relaxation, coordination exercises, which aimed at improving the morphological indices. The data of the research reveal the efficiency of the means and methods used to improve the morphological indices.
