Abstract

Objective It is expected to use the experience of educational reform in nursing by developing the simultaneous teaching for both curriculum theory and clinical practice in medical and surgical nuing and evaluating its teaching efficiency.Methods A random sampling from the whole grade of 2006,majoring in nursing,46 students as a experimental group,49 students as a contrast group.In the experimental group,the simultaneous teaching for both curriculum theory and clinical practice in medical and surgical nursing,while in the contrast group,only the traditional teaching method is used.When their courses are finished.two groups of students take the same exaln and there is a questionnaire for the students of the experimental group.Results The scoresinthe experimental group are higher than those in the contrast group(t=4.6995、7.4526,P<0.01);from the questionnaire of the experimental group,most students consider that their abilities to communication,practice and problem solving have been increased. Conclusions The simultaneous teaching for both curriculum theory and clinical practice in medical and surgical nursing is beneficial to the training of numing students'professional recognition,increasing their learning result and their abilities to communication,practice and problem solving.
