Abstract

Abstract Naturally infested late bloom through early pod stage soybean plants were treated on 26 Aug. Nine insecticide-treated and 1 untreated control plot were arranged in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications. All plots consisted of 4 adjacent rows 7.5 m long with 76 cm inter-row spacings. Sprays were applied in water (20 gpa) with a CO2 powered backpack sprayer equipped with 80� hollow cone nozzles. On each evaluation date 20 pendulum sweeps per plot were collected. Different adjacent rows were sampled on each date.
