Abstract

The energy levels of H/sub 2/ were examined in order to estimate where the effects of weak interactions may be expected to be large. The calculation was done by the covariant lowest order perturbation with the V-A type of the ore resistant t decay interaction, introducing the cutoff momentum K, neglecting the total energy momentum compared with K, and retaining only the term of highest power of K. It is concluded that weak interactions may give observable contributions to strong interactions at r/sub 0/ = 10/sup -17/ cm. (D.L.C.)
