Abstract

The blade casting method was applied for producing PVC based gel polymer electrolytes. Effects of the solvent evaporation temperature on the ionic conductivity of polymer electrolytes were investigated though AC impedance measurements. The scanning electron microscope was used to observe the surface morphology of the polymer electrolytes. Lower solvent evaporation temperature was in favor of larger porous structure and higher ionic conductivity.
