Abstract

Objective To carry out subcutaneous hemorrhage risk management among patients with antithrombotic therapy after of arteriopuncture and venipuncture in the coronary care unit and to evaluate its effects. Methods From 7th July to 7th August 2016 and from 21st August to 21st September 2016, this study selected 70 patients with antithrombotic therapy receiving invasive nursing operation of coronary care unit in He'nan Provincial People's Hospital by convenience sampling. All of the patients were divided into control group (n=35) and intervention group (n=35) according to the admission time. Patients of control group accepted routine nursing. On the basis of the routine nursing, intervention group formed a group for subcutaneous hemorrhage risk management, and perfected risk identification and classification as well as standardized process of invasive nursing operation aimed at subcutaneous hemorrhage. We evaluated the incidence and score of subcutaneous hemorrhage severity as well as the score of nurses' antithrombosis risk related knowledge before and after subcutaneous hemorrhage risk management. Results Patients' incidence and score of subcutaneous hemorrhage severity after venipuncture in intervention group was 1.59% and (1.00±0.85) respectively, significantly lower than those in control group (χ2=5.239, t=12.348; P<0.05) . The incidence and score of subcutaneous hemorrhage severity after arteriopuncture in intervention group 4.85% and (2.00±0.93) respectively, significantly lower than those in control group (χ2=3.982, t=16.493; P<0.05) . After implementing out subcutaneous hemorrhage risk management, the score of nurses' antithrombosis risk related knowledge was (94.68±12.84) lower than that (87.12±10.43) before implementation with a significant difference (t=2.044, P<0.05) . Conclusions The implementation of subcutaneous hemorrhage risk management for patients with antithrombotic therapy receiving invasive nursing operation of coronary care unit can effectively reduce the incidence of subcutaneous hemorrhage and improve the score of nurses' antithrombosis risk related knowledge. It is worth to be used widely in clinical application. Key words: Nursing care; Antithrombotic therapy; Arteriopuncture and venipuncture; Subcutaneous hemorrhage; Risk management
