Abstract
We investigate effects of staggered magnetic field on thermalentanglement in the anisotropic XY model. The analytic resultsof entanglement for the two-site cases are obtained. For thegeneral case of even sites, we show that when the anisotropicparameter is zero, the entanglement in the XY model with astaggered magnetic field is the same as that with a uniformmagnetic field.
