Abstract

Purpose: to investigate the effect of reducing blood sugar and preventing deafness prescription on SOD and MDA levels in mice with “fear of kidney injury” model. Method: The model of fear of hurting kidney was adopted(that is the fear of the kidney damage), to adapt the kunming species of female mice in laboratory after 1 week, digital table method were randomly divided into 3 groups, the party group of reducing blood sugar and preventing deafness (dosed with 10g/kg. d suspension of reducing blood sugar and preventing deafness prescription)10; The normal control group and the model control group(0.2ml/10g distilled water each day)were given 10 tablets each. Except for the normal control group, the other two groups were frightened by male cats. The serum SOD and MDA levels of the three groups were detected at 21d. [Results]: Compared with the model group, the serum SOD level of the reducing blood sugar and preventing deafness prescription group was higher than that of the model control group, and the MDA level was lower than that of the model group, with statistical significance(P<0.05, P<0.01). SOD in the model group was lower than that in the normal control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). MDA in the model group was significantly higher than that in the normal control group and the anti-deafness prescription group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Hypoglycemic anti-deafness prescription can increase SOD and decrease MDA in serum of mice with “fear of kidney injury”.
