Abstract

The paper presents the results of a study of ethanol electrooxidation on por-Si/Pd structures formed by metal-stimulated etching. The emphasis on the influence of external factors, such as temperature, pH of ethanol solution and external radiation in the visible and UV ranges on the catalytic activity of the structure. The empirical mechanism of ethanol electrooxidation on the por-Si/Pd structure under additional external illumination is presented.
