Abstract

Objective To explore the knowledge and the experience on nursing humanistic teaching experiment of the Second Military Medical University in nursing students and to think about the influences of reform in education. Methods A total 9 nursing students were interviewed with the research method of phenomenology in qualitative research. And then, the data were saturated and analyzed with the Colaizzi analysis method. Results Finally, 4 themes were induced including: humanistic concern education somewhat had an impact on professional behavior and attitude of nursing students; humanistic concern education could help students improve their ability of concern sense; nursing students raised a clear claim for carrying out humanistic care teaching in clinic; there was changing rules of humanistic concern quality during formation process. Conclusions Humanistic concern intervention strategy taking in this education reform has a positive impact on professional behavior and attitude of nursing students. However, preservation and internalization of the quality still need to be strengthened by clinical learning. Key words: Humanistic concern; Teaching experiment; Qualitative research
