Abstract

Microwave dielectric ceramics of Ba(Co0.7Zn0.3)1/3Nb2/3O3 (BCZN) with MnO2 addition have been prepared by the solid-state reaction method. The low-temperature annealed samples were added to make comparison. The results revealed that the improvement of Q×f value was attributed to 1mol% MnO2 addition in the unannealed BCZN, but the annealed BCZN had a sharp decrease on Q×f value. The microstructures and crystal structures were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and electrical conductivity results to reveal the mechanisms.
