Abstract
Objective To study the impact of mental toughness training on the emotional state and life quality of patients in respiratory department. Methods A total of 90 patients admitted to the respiratory department of Changhai Hospital from May 2016 to May 2018 were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 45 cases each.The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the experimental group received mental toughness training intervention on the basis of the control group.Both groups received nursing intervention for 4 weeks.Both groups received nursing interventions for 4 weeks.The differences in emotional state, quality of life and satisfaction before and after the intervention were compared. Results After intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the experimental group were significantly lower than that of the control group, while the SF-36 scores were significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences( P<0.05). The satisfaction of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05). Conclusions Mental toughness training can significantly improve the emotional state of patients in department of respiratory medicine, improve their quality of life and satisfaction, and is worthy of clinical application.
