Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of mental intervention on patients with kidney cancer.Methods The psychological statuses of 42 patients with kidney cancer were investigated.According to the results from psychometric evaluation to patients,different mental and behavior intervention measures were taken.Patients' mental health states before and after intervention were compared.Results Beside paranoid symptom,there were statistically differences in compel symptom,interpersonal sensitiveness,depression,hostility,panic and psychopathic nature of patients before and after mental interventian(P<0.05).Conclusion Mental intervention could improve significantly negative psychological statuses of patients with kidney cancer.
