Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of mental intervention to the psychological health status of the patients with dialysis. Methods 50 patients with induced hemodialysis were selected in the First People's Hospital of Hefei and investigated by symptom checklist (SCL-90) for psychological status. Specific psychological and behavior interventions were implemented by the investigation results and the psychological health status of the patients with dialysis were compared before and after intervention. Results The results about positive items of symptom checklist (SCL-90) after enforcing the intervention study were significantly lower than those before intervention ( P < 0. 05 ), especially about body symptoms, compulsion, anxiety, depression,dread, hostility and interpersonal relationship. Conclusions Comprehensive mental intervention could improve the negative emotion and increase the healthy status of induced dialysis patients.
