Abstract

Objective To analyze the clinical effects of low dose nifedipine, metoprolol and captopril in the treatment of hypertension. Methods A total of 156 patients with hypertension in the 985th Hospital of PLA from January 2018 to December 2018 were selected as retrospective analysis objects. The patients were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method. The patients in the observation group were treated with low dose nifedipine, metoprolol and captopril, and the patients in the control group were treated with routine dose nifedipine. The clinical efficacy and adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The overall effective rate of the patients in the observation group was 96.15%, higher than the 79.49% in control group. There was no significant diffrence in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the systolic and diastolic pressure in the observation group was lower than that of the control group , with more remarkable change (P<0.05). The adverse reaction rates of dizziness, chest distress, nausea and headache were low in the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusions The combined treatment with low-dose nifedipine, metoprolol and captopril in the treatment of hypertension can achieve satisfactory results, and the safety is high. Key words: Hypertension; Nifedipine; Captopril; Metoprolol
