Abstract
Abstract Test plots were located at the Columbia View and Smith Tract orchards of the WSU Tree Fruit Research Center, Wenatchee. Plots were arranged in a completely random design with 4 single tree replicates per plot. Plots were sprayed to the point of drip with a hand gun sprayer at 400-500 psi. Three twigs, 5 to 7 inches in length, were selected from each tree and examined under the microscope in the laboratory. The number of aphids on each twig were counted and recorded.
