Abstract
Objective To analyze the effects of focus resolution mode on primipara′s coping style, emotion and outcomes of childbirth. Methods A total of 104 primiparas were averagely divided into experimental group and control group. The patients of control group received routine obstetrical nursing, and the patients of experimental group underwent focus resolution mode. The coping style, emotion and outcomes of childbirth were compared between two groups. Results One month after intervention, the negative coping style score of experimental group was apparently lower than that of control group, but the positive coping style score of experimental group was apparently higher than that of control group; the anxiety score of experimental group was lower than that of control group (P<0.05). The nature labor rate was 67.31% in experimental group higher than 48.08% in control group (P<0.05); the total stage of labor was (483.37±54.67) min, shorten than (536.71±62.52) min in control group (P<0.05). Conclusions Focus solution mode can contribute to improve primipara′s coping style, release their anxiety emotion and improve outcomes of childbirth. Key words: Focus resolution mode; Primipara; Coping style; Outcome of childbirth
