Abstract
Poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF) films from the melt were uniaxially drawn at different temperatures. The structure and properties of the drawn PVDF films were characterized by WAXD (Wide Angle X-ray Diffraction), IR (Infrared spectroscopy). The properties of the drawn films strongly depend on drawing conditions. At a given drawing ratio, however, the crystal form was remarkably different with drawing temperatures. The structural changes on the drawn PVDF films were discussed.
