Abstract

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ornidazole alone, ornidazole+ levofloxacin, ornidazole+ cefdinir on chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods A total of 231 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease were selected. According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into three groups, with 77 patients in each group. The patients in group A were treated with ornidazole alone, and the patients in group B were treated with ornidazole+ levofloxacin, and the patients in group C were treated with Ornidazole+ cefdinir treatment. The hematocrit, interleukin-1 (IL-1), lymphocyte count, plasma viscosity, C-reactive protein (CRP), white blood cell count, incidence of adverse reactions and lymphocyte percentage were compared before and after treatment. The total efficiency of the three groups was compared. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of group C was significantly higher than that of group A (94.8% vs. 62.3%, χ2=24.105, P<0.001) and B group (94.8% vs. 83.2%, χ2=8.381, P=0.004). After treatment, the hematocrit, IL-1, lymphocyte count, plasma viscosity, CRP, lymphocyte percentage and white blood cell count in the three groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). The above indicators in group B were significantly lower than those in group A after treatment, and those in group C were significantly lower than those in group A and group B after treatment, the differences were significant (P<0.05). Conclusions In the conventional treatment, at the same time, cefdinir combined with Ornidazole treatment has good therapeutic effect on chronic pelvic inflammation. The curative effect is superior to ornidazole single drug therapy or levofloxacin combined with Ornidazole. And the safety is good, it is worthy of clinical application. Key words: Chronic pelvic inflammation; Ornidazole; Medication plan
