Abstract

We consider a single-mode laser model with cross-correlated additive and multiplicative noises term, and study the effects of correlation between noises on the normalized intensity correlation function C( τ) and the associated relaxation time T c by means of projection operator method, in which the effects of the memory kernels of the correlation function are taken into account. Based on numerical computations it is found that nearby threshold the presence of negatively correlated noises slows down the decay of fluctuation, whereas presence of positively correlated noises speed up the decay of fluctuation. Far apart from threshold the influence of correlation between noises on T c are very weak. In addition we analyze the influence of the memory on the T c and C( τ). The influence of the memory slows up the decay of the intensity correlation function.
