Methods By convenience sampling, 96 inpatients with diabetic retinopathy in Shenzhen Eye Hospital from September of 2016 to August of 2018 were selected and 2 of them were lost in the follow-up visit. Based on the random number table, they were divided into the control group (n=48) and observation group (n=48) . Conventional nursing approach was adopted in the control group while 4C nursing model was adopted in the observation group. Self-designed Medication Compliance Questionnaire and Chinese-version Low Vision Quality of Life Questionnaire were used in the investigation. Six months after intervention, the total score of quality of life in the observation group (80.08 ±5.83) was higher than that in the control group (67.56 ±10.62) , there was significant differences in the quality of life score between the two groups (P<0.05) .
