Abstract

Rossetto and Grosenick investigated the perceptions of graduates of an induction program in teacher education. Program graduates from the past 13 years were surveyed regarding training received as part of an on-the-job preparation pro gram conducted jointly by selected school districts and the University of Oregon. Results indicate that the major ity of graduates continued careers in education after program completion. Graduates rated program objectives as having been attained. The opportunity to pursue full-time teaching while ex tending professional education was the primary motivator for participating in the induction program.
