Abstract

Objective: Apolipoprotein E (apoE) ɛ4 allele is associated with a higher risk of coronary heart disease. This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of apoE genotype on serum lipid profile [total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C)] and changes in lipid profile with hormone therapy (HT) in postmenopausal Korean women.
