Abstract

Abstract We present the results of our recent measurements of the frequency dependent conductivity of the impure compound (TMTSF)2(AsF6)0.85(SbF6)0.15. Above 12 K we find a simple metallic behavior with a mild bandmass enhancement. Below T SDW, the transport measurements give evidence of segregation at roughly a 1% level. The frequency dependent response clearly shows the presence of two modes in the microwave spectral range. We interpret these findings as further evidence for the assignment of these modes to the SDW phason. Finally, the spectral weight of these modes is small compared with total (1%) and we find evidence for a shift of the spectral weight up to higher frequencies.
