Abstract

Abstract This study examined the effects of a 12-week growth group on self-actualizing behaviors involving a treatment group of nine master-level counselor candidates and a control group of eight master-level counselor candidates. Significant gains were obtained by the treatment group over the controls on a measure of self-actualization and these gains tended to hold 5 months later
