Abstract
Abstract Several proteins were directly and effectively transferred from human erythrocyte membranes to dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine (DMPC) liposomes which contain an artificial boundary lipid (1,2-dimyristoylamido-1,2-deoxyphosphatidylcholine, DDPC). Of the membrane proteins, the activity of acetylcholine esterase (AchE) was monitored. The activity of AchE and the amount of total protein transferred were highest when 40 mol% of DDPC was added to DMPC.
