Abstract

An effective isospin non-conserving interaction is determined for a 1s0d shell full space calculation. The interaction parameters are determined by requiring the interaction to reproduce the observed energy splittings of isobaric multiplets. We introduce a new mass dependence of the parameters, which significantly improves the quality of agreement. Applying the obtained interaction, the isospin mixing matrix elements are calculated. The calculation has reproduced existing experimental values deduced from isospin-forbidden beta decays.
