Abstract
Effect of wheat bran and brown sugar on the yield of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus)
Highlights
Pleurotus ostreatus is a white basidiomyceteAgriculture Research Institute, that can be effortlessly grown on an Mingora Swat
Mushrooms are the macroscopic, spore bearing, fleshy fruiting bodies of fungi usually produced above the surface of the substrate generally used as a food source
The autoclave, the bags are taken out and brown sugar being a rich source of sugar/carbohydrates or carbon resulted in fermentation and liquidity in the substrate in some bags
Summary
Agriculture Research Institute, that can be effortlessly grown on an Mingora Swat. Substrate preparation for oyster running and mushroom production mushroom production improvement lignin and cellulose materials, Substrates for growing Pleurotus ostreatus for example, corn cobs, grain, straw, paper, mushroom were made according to [23, 27]. Though wheat straw has the production of various mushroom species. Remained the basic substrate medium for most of the substrates are usually growth of Pleurotus ostreatus, less research of organic origin. The researcher has been conducted on identifying the effects used three different substrates for oyster of adding different supplements to wheat mushroom production shown in (Table). Wheat straw was used as the basal medium wheat straw and brown sugar for incorporating two different organic supplementation in wheat straw for growing amendments i.e. wheat brawn and brown oyster mushrooms sugar (Gur). Wheat straw without any Materials and methods amendment was used as control treatment
