Abstract
In this paper, the effect of viscous flux flow on magnetization and ac susceptibility in type-II superconductors is studied. The magnetization curves and ac susceptibility was further investigated by numerically solving both the Bean model and the viscous flux flow equations. In the unified picture, the fundamental ac susceptibilities of the slab as a function of temperature under different viscous flux flow velocities is derived, and some unique characteristics are reproduced. The results indicate that the critical state model can be well described by the viscous flux flow equation, which has a significant impact on magnetization and ac susceptibility.
