Abstract
Objective To probe into the effect of training with core competence as the theoretical framework on the critical thinking ability of operating room nurses. Methods From October 2017 to December 2018, 40 nurses from the hospital who participated in the training of specialist nurses in the operating room were selected as research objects.The results of operating room theory and operational skills, core competence scores and critical thinking scores before and after training were compared and analyzed. Results Compared with before the training, scores of basic nursing knowledge and operating room professional nursing knowledge, scores of basic nursing operation and simulated operation environment, scores and total scores of each dimension of core competence, scores and total scores of each dimension of critical thinking were significantly improved in the theoretical assessment after the training, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusions The training with core competence as the theoretical framework has a positive promoting effect on the improvement of core competence and critical thinking of operating room nurses and lays a good foundation for the improvement of operating room nursing quality.
